A stuffed animal that can send kids hugs remotely has launched its campaign on Kickstarter. Using haptic technology, Parihug is a toy that vibrates (or hugs) when parents tap a button on the companion app, connecting them to their children from afar. Parents also have the option to buy a “Little Pari” they can take and send pictures of during their travels. The stuffed animal debuted at CES this year and is over halfway to their fundraising goal on Kickstarter. (The Verge)
