Millennials are increasingly becoming proud pet parents. The American Pet Products Association latest survey on pet ownership in the U.S. has revealed that Millennials now account for 35% of all pet owners, surpassed Boomers by 3%. The group also accounts for “more than half of reptile, small animal, and saltwater fish owners.” The APPA says Millennials are a “very passionate, active, and connected group,” and the industry is making shifts to meet their demands.
