As Facebook and Instagram make moves to be more like the Snapchat, the app is looking to innovate to stay ahead. On the heels of Facebook’s Stories debut, Snapchat has taken their search function to the next level. A new tool will make all photos and videos submitted by users to the public “Our Story” completely searchable, and content on the app more accessible. Using the information in posts, like “text and visual elements,” the search can look through more than a million stories to pull up relevant results for inquiries. (Bloomberg)
