More babies in the U.S.

More babies in the U.S. are going to be sleeping in boxes—and it’s good for them. In partnership with health officials, The Baby Box Co. is working towards reducing accidental and unexpected deaths in infants through online videos on sleep safety, and sleep boxes they’re giving away for free through state programs. The practice was adopted from Finland, which saw a “sharp drop” in sudden infant deaths when providing clutter-free boxes as an alternative to cribs or bassinets that can pose a risk when overcrowded with bedding or toys.
