Axe is betting on 30 male influencers to get young guys styling their hair. Comedian Anthony Padilla, Cooking Channel star Josh Elkin, and musician/comedian Rudy Mancuso, among others, were all chosen to create videos with messages “they saw fit” to encourage young men to use Axe products in their hair. Many created videos that promote confidence in humorous ways, following insights from a 2016 Edelman Intelligence survey that revealed 65% of guys didn’t regularly style their hair, but of those who did, 93% reported feeling more confident.
