Looks like Snapchat isn’t the only social platform planning to take over TV. YouTube has announced a new Live TV service—distinct from its YouTube Red service—that costs $35 a month, with no long-term contract requirement. CBS has already signed on, and YouTube is in negotiations with NBCUniversal and Disney for additional programming to supplement YouTube Red’s 28 original series. Unlike traditional cable TV, YouTube TV will have unlimited DVR space and be capable of multiple simultaneous recordings. (TechCrunch)
