A luxury apartment chain wants to build the ultimate Millennial living space. lyf@SMU is a “living lab” with apartment mock-ups in Singapore Management University's downtown campus that will serve as a feedback tool for serviced apartment conglomerate The Ascott. Students can explore the colorful space with “a large social pantry, a jamming room for musicians, and futuristic recreation rooms with VR headsets and a ‘reimagined cube for table tennis,’” while WiFi use will create heat maps that show what rooms are most popular.
