Generation Z is looking to become more cultured. A new report from AFS Intercultural Programs has revealed that 60% of 13-18-year-olds have considered joining an exchange program, and their top motivator is to seek new cultural experiences, “clearly demonstrat[ing] that young people around the world are eager to embrace and experience different cultures and ideas.” They are also very aware of global security events, and over half indicated that safety and security are concerns when travelling abroad.
