Researchers are increasingly giving screen time for kids the green light.

Researchers are increasingly giving screen time for kids the green light. Last year, the American Academy of Pediatrics dropped their recommendation that children not use screens past two hours daily, and now a new analysis of the 2013 Youth Risk Behavior Survey has found little correlation between screen time and negative effects on children. Young respondents were ‘resilient’ to screen consumption up to six hours daily, and researchers found a “negligibly small association” between the amount of time spent on devices and higher rates of depression and misbehavior.
