Going mobile has sparked an “entertainment revolution.” According to a recent PayPal survey, for young consumers especially, mobile has ignited a desire and reliance on streaming. The survey found 18-34-year-olds were less likely to download music, compared to 35 and older, and less than half say they’ve canceled a video streaming service after less than 12 months. Our Post-TV Gen trend found that TV screens are considered a nice-to-have by today’s young consumers, who more readily access quality video content on mobile. (MediaPost)
