McDonald’s stirred up surprise and delight this week to get young consumers to eat Big Macs. On Tuesday, a Big Mac ATM appeared in Boston’s Kenmore Square dispensing the original burger, along with the all new Millennial-targeted Grand Mac and Mac Jr—but it may have been the allure of free food that ended up sparking a long line with college and high school students. As one 16-year-old explained, “It was lunch time and I was, like I'm broke, they're giving out free Big Macs. Hell yeah.” (Metro)
