Costco has announced they’re “winning” young shoppers, despite putting in little effort. During an earnings call this week, the retailer reported that their average age of membership has been dropping, thanks to Millennial sign ups. While they say they haven’t specifically sought out young consumers, their focus on organics and experimentation with coupons site like LivingSocial have likely spurred the increase.
