How do you sell Millennials on the suburbs? Realty company Platinum Drive Realty is giving “luxury tours” to convince them that “the suburbs have soul.” As part of the selling process, they pick up potential buyers in Manhattan to bring them to the surrounding suburbs, stressing that it's “basically a long subway ride” and not in the middle of nowhere. The company says there is demand: “A lot of Millennials who have been delaying making the move, thinking interest rates would stay low forever, are coming around.” (The New Yorker)
