There are more young people watching Planet Earth IIthan The X Factor in the U.K. According to The BBC, the nature series’ first three episodes have surpassed The X Factor’s 16-34-year-old viewer count, with one episode watched by 1.8 million, compared to The X Factor’s 1.4 million. Developers of the program credit the success of their new season with “improvements in technology” that allows viewers to see the animals closer than ever, and gets them right into the action.
