A new app wants to redefine shopping for the Snapchat generation. YEAY is ‘lively’ platform with “very Snapchat-esque…flowing video [and] fun snippets” where users can both shop and quickly upload things to sell themselves. Once users and brands have uploaded items to sell, they can creatively spread awareness by including snapshots, text, emoji, and video. Currently in global beta, the app has an expected release in early 2017, but has reportedly already attracted an “unusual” level of attention from “big” brands. (Forbes)
