Traditional banking is struggling with the “unbanked generation.” Leading banks JPMorgan & Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo, are among the top ten least loved brands by Millennials, and aren’t catering to young consumers’ digital needs. According to a Viacom study, one in three Millennials are open to switching banks within the next 90 days, and over seven in ten would be more interested in new financial services from Google, Apple, Amazon, PayPal, or Square than their own bank.
