J.C. Penney is honing in on its “emerging customer” base of Millennial moms. After noting that their newest customers are between 30-40-years-old, visiting the retailer frequently, and spending more than the average shopper, the department store has started making efforts to make these young moms’ lives easier. Initiatives include bringing a dedicated toy section back to the kids’ department and focusing on their new fast fashion line Belle & Sky. (CNBC)
