Netflix is working with Girl Scouts to motivate young girls to pursue a future in STEM. The STEM Superstars Guide will be an online resource where Girl Scouts can access tools and learn about role models that inspire interest in science, technology, engineering and math, and will also include troop activities. In 2015, Netflix premiered Project Mc2, a series “focuse[d] specifically on tween girls in an effort to build an understanding of and interest in STEM fields.” The new effort will revolve around the show, and Girl Scout troops will get an opportunity to see a sneak-peak of season three.
