Teens are choosing to get high over getting drunk.

Aug 10 2016

Teens are choosing to get high over getting drunk. A new study from Project Know asked 12-17-year-olds what they’ve done in the last 30 days, and found they are “statistically more likely” to say smoking weed than binge drinking. Washington D.C. had the highest amount of weed smoking teens, with 32% saying they’ve done it over the past month and only 14% saying they binged drank in that time. Middle America is where more teen drinkers than smokers were found, led by West Virginia where 24.4% of teens say they drank, compared to the 19% who say they smoked. (Complex)
