Target is launching a Connected Nursery section at 450 stores to appeal to tech-savvy (and potentially paranoid) new parents. The retailer has released baby products from digital startups and tech companies that make childcare easier, like a Motorola baby weight-and-length tracking scale and an app linked baby monitor that also measures air quality. Although there is debate about the right amount of digital exposure for children, younger parents in particular are more open to tech integration and believe it is about finding “balance.” (Fast Company)
