In an effort to make an impact and improve at work, Millennials are looking for consistent feedback—with one Gallup study finding that when young employees receive consistent feedback from managers, they are more than twice as engaged. Because traditional annual review processes don’t fill that need, IBM introduced Checkpoint, a system that “allows people within the company to give feedback to other employees, no matter their organizational rank.” Employees and managers also meet at least four times a year “to discuss and adjust goals.”
