Millennials are killing the radio! A study from the Music Business Association has found that 15-19-year-olds are only devoting 12% of their time to listening to traditional radio, while more than half are listening to on-demand streaming services daily. It’s not that they don’t have access to radio, but that they “have much better options these days” that can be streamed from their many different devices. But don’t worry, the classic radio format isn’t “dead” just yet: according to Nielsen 91% of Americans 12 and older tuned into a radio at least once during the second quarter of 2015. (Forbes)
