Sorry teens, the olds are invading Snapchat. A recent comScore report revealed that the platform “is experiencing a rise in adult users.” Almost 40% of 25-34-year-olds are currently using Snapchat, up from 5% three years ago, and usage for those 35 and older has increased 12% in that time. The rise has been attributed to the platforms’ updates, including Snapchat Stories, creative lenses and coverage of live events. But young consumers are still sticking around: 18-24-year-old users have increased from 24% in 2013 to 69% in 2016. (Forbes)
