Vice never anticipated becoming a “food network,” but it’s happening anyway. According to the media company’s co-founder: “[Brands and platform partners are] coming to us saying, ‘Can we please have some of this Millennial food stuff.’” He also claims that traditional media’s food programming isn’t catering to the generation—which is also the largest group spending money on food. So far Vice’s food-focused shows include F*ck, That’s Delicious starring rapper Action Bronson travelling the world and eating food, and Huang’s World featuring chef Eddie Huang. Along with food, music is a big focus for the brand. (MediaPost)
