The Disney Channel is appealing to Millennials’ nostalgic side in hopes they “will stick around a bit.” The network has debuted a remake of 1987 comedy Adventures in Babysitting with the aim to “connect this movie and Disney Channel with a new generation, and hopefully their family, friends and kids.” The premiere of the film ended a four week “celebration” of Disney Original Movies, re-airing “classics” like High School Musical—another major nostalgia play.
