Walmart is planning to “reimagine retail” in an effort to compete with Amazon. The retailer has seen its e-commerce growth slow down over the last year, and CEO Doug McMillon has outlined initiatives that “will help the once-intimidating retail giant get back up off the mat.” To create “one seamless shopping experience,” Walmart will be focusing in on online sales and expanding their buy online and pick up in-store service to more than 50 U.S. markets. The brand will also testing a grocery delivery pilot project with Uber, Lyft, and Deliv. (brandchannel)
