Streaming platform Twitch is making its content more shareable. A new update allows creators and viewers to create 30-second clips from live streamed content, which can then be shared on messaging apps or networks like Facebook and Twitter. The live-broadcast gaming site hopes the “shareability factor” will give content a “longer shelf-life online,” and bring in more awareness, as it has for BuzzFeed’s Tasty food brand and late-night hosts like Jimmy Kimmel and John Oliver.
