There’s one thing that all generations can agree on: they spend way too much money on food. A recent study on spending habits revealed each generation’s top money wasters, and eating out, uneaten or expired foods, and grocery items ended up on Xers, Boomers, and Millennials’ top five list. Millennial money-wasters also included alcohol and entertainment, while Boomers and X are spending on credit card interest and TV. When asked if they would describe themselves as “nonwasteful,” only 15% of Millennials said yes, compared to 19% of Gen X and 30% of Baby Boomers. (Bustle)
