Intel has set their sights on the fashion industry.

Intel has set their sights on the fashion industry. The tech brand has released Intel Curie, an inch-long module designed for wearables, in hopes to become an integral part of the fashion community. Curie has powered projects like a sports bra that can open vents when body temperature goes up, and emoji pins and necklaces that also double as fitness trackers. But ultimately, Intel is looking to create “fashion lines that people will actually buy—and not just Instagram gimmicks at fashion shows.” So far, partnerships between the tech and fashion worlds have been mostly geared toward one-off gimmicks.
