Discovery’s new Seeker media brand is being built for Millennials. The online network will focus on science and exploration, and feature “socially-driven content” across multiple digital platforms. Programming will include Seeker VR content like Edge of the Earth 360, a VR trip in a weather balloon 100,000 feet in the air, and online series like Seeker Sabbatical, which will show digital celebs going on “unique travel experiences.” In May, a week of livestreams on engineered foods, science experiments, and outdoor escapes will be broadcast as well.
