Educators are now joining the popular platform as way to communicate reminders, announcements, and happenings around the school. Although the co-founder of Snapchat intentionally “made it very hard for parents to embarrass their children,” by focusing on the platform’s ability to “[share] personal moments,” teachers feel it’s the perfect space to reach students, and keep them engaged and informed.
