Pepsi is letting emojis do the talking on their new packaging. This year, Pepsi cans and bottles will be printed with over 70 “global and locally designed emojis,” in over 100 global markets. AdAge calls the campaign, “like Share-A-Coke, but without words.” According to Pepsi, “more than 2 billion smartphone users globally send 6 billion emojis daily,” and they hope their own “PepsiMojis” will be used as a form of expression. They’ve also teamed with fashion designer Jeremy Scott to create a PepsiMoji sunglasses collection, and plan to release a “#PepsiMoji Keyboard” through the app store on World Emoji Day. (AdAge)
