Social media is becoming a big part of parenting. A recent Crowdtap study found that 90% of Millennial parents say social media is somewhat to extremely helpful to their parenting, and 37% of moms and almost 50% of dads use social platforms daily for parenting purposes. They’re also twice as likely to turn to the internet for parenting advice than friends or relatives—though their own mom is by far their biggest source of information. But social media isn’t all positive for them: 20% of Millennial parents say it’s a distraction, and 17% of Millennial moms say it creates social pressure. (Adweek)
