If Millennials and money had a relationship on Facebook its status would be, “It’s complicated.” A recent study by Facebook IQ looked at 21-34-year-olds’ attitude towards money and financial institutions, and found plenty of complications: though 85% Millennials are saving every month, most can’t say what they’re saving for, and one half don’t have a long term financial plans. For banks, creating a better relationship and going mobile is key: 44% don’t believe banks understand them (terms like used-car salesman were used by many) and 49% favor mobile banking.
