Rappers and icons, social networks, style blogs, and sneaker forums have driven a growing group of style-conscious young male consumers who care about what they wear, and are willing to spend for it. E-commerce has been innovating to cater to Millennial men, and Grailed, an online marketplace for selling and buying clothing, has 150,000 global active users, mostly between 16-24-years-old. The site has no sales charge and their 75,000 postings are mostly of designer menswear, which they say sell within a month of posting. The secondhand men’s clothing ecosystem is thriving, and eBay reports, “Sales of used menswear on the site increased about 73% from 2011 to 2015, reaching 5.7 million items.” (Quartz)
