Though teens and college students are turning to apps like Snapchat to make photos of their bad behavior disappear, many are still broadcasting things on social media they probably shouldn’t. So what better place to get an unfiltered look at their lives? That’s what researchers at the University of Rochester are hoping for—they’ve been “mining photos and text from teen Instagram accounts as a means of illuminating underage drinking patterns among its users.” (Vice Munchies)
