Here’s another entertainment category that could be taken over by the VR revolution: sports. Tonight’s Golden State Warrior’s game is being broadcast to fans in virtual reality. Viewers with Samsung Gear headsets can tune in to watch the game in a whole new way, and witness the first professional sports VR stream in history. The NBA tells fans that cameras will be “'positioned strategically to capture all the live action, providing…a fully immersive experience as if they were watching from a courtside vantage point.’” (Fast Company)
