The 2016 trends predictions have begun! According to a new report from Mintel, “alternative” and “real” foods and beverages will be the big trends of the next year. “The increasingly widespread view of anything artificial as ‘public enemy No. 1.’” will continue to drive consumers’ desire for products with natural, recognizable ingredients, and items like non-dairy milks and veggie burgers will “create a ‘profound’ change in the marketplace.” (MediaPost)
