Kids for generations have complained they get too much homework, but today's kids might actually be right. Elementary school students are getting nearly three times the recommended amount of homework. A new study found that first graders receive nearly 30 minutes of homework a night, while roughly 10 minutes is recommended for that age group.  Consequences of too much homework include “higher stress levels and potentially worse social skills.” (The Daily Beast)
