Texting has very few rules, and the amount of time that young people spend writing on their phones could potentially deteriorate their spelling and grammar skills IRL. (That’s in real life.) iCorrect is a new add-on to Apple’s iMessage that wants to use texting to improve those skills instead, by preventing a message from being sent before everything is written properly—no abbreviations or misspelling allowed. The app is enabled by parental controls, which makes sense as it sounds like most kids’ nightmare. (Fast Company)
