Millennials who are thriving financially reportedly have one thing in common: “rich parents.” According to a recent survey, 46% of 23-34-year-olds have pursued “post secondary education” and 61% of them received financial help for their education expenses. Alleviating that student debt frees these Millennials up to take on their own financial burdens, like buying a home and starting a family. In fact, the same survey found that 43% of Millennials who received help in paying for school were able to become homeowners. (The Atlantic)
