Much ink has been spilled about kids having too much mobile screen time—but less time is spent discussing parents also using their phones and tablets too much. One pediatrician studying family device use observed 55 groups of families and children at fast-food restaurants, and saw that 40 adults took out devices and used them almost the entire meal. We’d venture a guess that balancing tech use and unplugged parenting could be a particular struggle for Millennial parents. (NYTimes)
