YouTube is the top movie trailer destination on the internet, and younger viewers are more likely to see a movie trailer on the site than on TV. According to Google studies, around 54% of 13-24-year-olds say they’re more likely to watch a video on YouTube than on TV, and 81% of 18-64-year-old moviegoers who watch trailers online do so on YouTube. The tech brand also says that users watched more than 35 million hours of movie trailers in the first half of 2015—up 88% from the previous year. (Variety)
