One might assume that young women are behind the fight for gender equality in video gaming, but boys also have issues with the way that women are presented in their favorite games. A recent survey of teens found that 61% of high school boys say they are tired of female characters being treated as sex objects in video games, and 55% of gamer boys said there should be more female heroes.
