Just yesterday, Swift (very politely) criticized Apple in an open letter asking them to reconsider the decision not to pay artists royalties during the free trial period of the upcoming Apple Music. She noted that the request was on the behalf of independent artists and young songwriters who depend on the income. and by the end of the day Apple announced they were reversing their stance.
