Do young consumers today have it harder than their parents did? A report issued by non-profit New America says they do. According to the research, “Millennials have been saddled with more complicated big-ticket financial decisions than earlier generations” thanks in large part to the higher and more complicated cost of education. Roughly 85% of Millennials hold some kind of debt, with the average “burden” at $60,000. (CBS News)
