Mic (previously PolicyMic) has plans to become a “Millennial media powerhouse,” focused on premium, college-educated young readers. The media startup has kept a lower profile than BuzzFeed and Vox, but is confident their approachable but smart news content, optimized for mobile consumption, will draw in an additional 40 to 50 million unique visitors a month.
