For generations, parents have struggled to wake up their yawning teens to get them to school, and there is more evidence mounting that pushing school start times back would benefit everyone. When a high school in the U.K. pushed their start time to 10am, exam results reportedly improved 19%. The school’s principal also says that illness incident went down, and teacher/student relationships improved. (Forbes)
