The new wave of parents, many being Millennials, are navigating the uncharted territory of parenting in the age of social media, and they’re choosing sharing over their children’s privacy. A recent survey of U.S. parents found that while 58% with children 0-13-years-old say they are concerned about their kids’ online privacy, 69% have posted pictures of their children despite their worries. Parents might also be missing the mark on educating their kids on these issues: 47% said their children knew “nothing” about online privacy. (MediaPost
