To the classroom, and beyond! From the White House to the toy store, the emphasis on STEM and coding education for young Millennials and post-Millennials continues, and now some budding scientists are being given the chance to conduct their own experiments in space. Ardusat is a startup giving students unprecedented access to satellites, and the 15 winners of the AstroSat Challenge will send up their own codes to collect unique data above Earth. One submitted project hopes to see if the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is growing, while another wants to measure how much UV light the atmosphere blocks. (Fast Company)
